CONTEXT
Within MSF’s Communication and Fundraising department in Belgium, the Support and Solutions team provides transversal and strategic support to key units including Info & Media, Public Engagement, Direct Dialogue and donors acquisition, Donor Retention and Strategic Partners, helping them enhance their impact through optimized digital tools, platforms, and user experiences.
As the CRM Operations & Support Officer, you contribute to the smooth running of CRM processes that enable online and offline fundraising and marketing activities. Working closely with product owners and internal teams, you support campaign execution, ensure data accuracy, and help coordinate CRM tasks to deliver consistent and timely audience engagement.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute workflows, segmentation rules, and automations based on predefined specifications
- Maintain CRM data hygiene through regular audits, deduplication, and quality checks
- Support data imports and ensure accurate formatting, mapping, and validation of records
- Implement configuration changes and assist in system updates, user management, and testing
- Document operational procedures and contribute to internal guides and knowledge bases
- Analyze campaign performance, track KPIs, and assist in preparing reports with actionable insights
- Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of CRM tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with CRM systems, either Salesforce and/or HubSpot, preferably in a fundraising nonprofit (NGO) context; certifications are an asset
- Basic understanding of inbound marketing, lead nurturing strategies, and CRM best practices
Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in executing routine tasks and quality checks
- Ability to follow structured procedures while proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Analytical mindset with a basic understanding of performance metrics and data visualization tools
- Clear written communication skills for documenting processes, updates, and user-facing materials
- Collaborative and empathetic approach to internal support, with a service-oriented mindset
- Motivation to contribute to humanitarian work and alignment with nonprofit values; prior exposure to Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud is strong asset
