CONTEXT
Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) has been integrated in the OCB 2020-2025 Strategic Orientations as a key axis to work on.
Because of its key role in undertaking a strong Information and Knowledge Management culture, the Human Resources Department has included IKM initiatives and projects as part of their strategic goals in order to improve related practices, as much as to build greater transversality.
It is now seeking support for its IKM activities. This is a critical area of work to support the organization and the accessibility of information at all levels, especially staff working in our countries of operations.
One of the key IKM initiatives for the HR department in the next months, is the migration of the HR knowledge base to the new OCB intranet platform, in order to have a central and common place for staff to access information.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The objective of the internship is to translate migrated content of the HR Knowledge Base (on Sherlog) to the MSF OCB Intranet (on SharePoint).
In order to do this, the intern will need to:
- Create the translation of HR Knowledge base in French (using the available tools)
- Understand the requirements: Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Management Experts) from the HR department to ensure MSF-OCB Intranet compatibility with HR needs
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Education: in Translation, Languages, Literature, Communications, Human Resources or a related area of study
Competencies
- Demonstrate rigor and the use of communication tools and practices
- Attention to details and strong proof-reading ability
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft SharePoint
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond to changing work situations and priorities
- Good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively
Languages
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English, other languages are a good asset
CONDITIONS
- Expected starting date: As soon as possible
- Location*: Brussels (Belgium)
- *Due to legal administrative constraints, candidates must already be resident in Belgium or have a residence right as a student in Belgium or in the European Union allowing to move and study in the EU and with the willingness to relocate in Belgium at their own costs
- Position type: Internship (unpaid) - Registered student with mandatory internship under school/university convention
- Internship duration: 1 to 3 months (can be discussed)
- Time allocation: preferably Full-time
- 100% reimbursement for public transportation costs in Belgium, and 7 EUR/day worked in the office to cover lunch costs
