Diversity and Anti-Racism Action Support Officer - (m/f/x) – Brussels – MSF Belgium
CONTEXT
The DARA Learning and Development will support MSF-OCB’s commitment to embedding diversity, anti-racism, equity, and inclusion through its Diversity and Anti-Racism Action (DARA) file. This role will assess learning needs related to DARA across projects, map existing resources within the MSF movement, and identify learning and development gaps. The output of this work will guide the creation of impactful, contextually relevant learning tools and strategies.
As a DARA support officer, you are a member of both the General Directorate, where you report directly to the DARA Coordinator and the people and workforce department where you have a functional manager in the L&D Leadership and Inclusion Referent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Learning Needs Assessment
- Conduct a thorough assessment of current DARA-related learning needs across OCB field projects, HQ teams, and regional platforms
- Engage with stakeholders (HR, project coordination teams, intersectional L&D actors, DARA focal points) to gather qualitative and quantitative data
- Analyze learning priorities across contexts, focusing on both general and context-specific needs
2. Resource Mapping
- Identify and catalogue existing DARA-related learning resources, programs, and tools available within the broader MSF movement (including other OCs and intersectional initiatives)
- Evaluate the relevance, accessibility, and uptake of these resources in different operational contexts
3. Gap Analysis & Reporting
- Compare assessed learning needs with the mapped resources to highlight key gaps
- Produce a clear and actionable Resource Gap Report, including recommendations for priority content to be developed or adapted
- Identify opportunities for cross-OC collaboration and resource sharing
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in humanities (sociology, pedagogy, anthropology, gender studies, critical race theory etc..) OR equivalent experience of 2 years of more in a similar role
- Good knowledge of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), gender & race and humanitarian values
Competencies
- Digital skills
- Strong humanitarian commitment and motivation to work with MSF
Languages
- Proficiency in English, both written & spoken is mandatory
- Good knowledge of French, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
CONDITIONS
- Expected starting date: ASAP

Location: Brussels or if not possible because of administrative constraint => home based
- Contract Type: Part-Time (60%), Fixed-Term (3 months)
- Salary according to MSF-OCB Head Office grid
